This just happened to my dog this week. We took him to the vet and they removed the nail. They also cleaned and bandaged the wound and gave us an ointment to put on it. It is painful and can become infected. Please have it removed by a vet.If a claw nail gets twisted out of place, what do you do?
take her to the groomers.. if they can cut it because my aunt's dog had a twisted nail and it was almost embedded in the pad of her foot and the dog would have needed surgery if she waited any longer. so i suggest take it to the groomers so they can see if they still can cut it. and it'll relieve you dog of pain.
c a vet ASAP!
