If I fill 3 test tubes with CuSO4, MgSO4, ZnSO4, and place an iron nail in each tube, what will happen?

The nail that is put into the solution of CuSO4 will become coated in a brown solid (copper) and if left for long enough the blue colour of the solution will gradually get paler.

Fe(s) + CuSO4(aq) --%26gt; Cu(s) + FeSO4(aq)

There will be no reaction in the other two test tubes because iron is below magnesium and zinc in the Reactivity Series. If I fill 3 test tubes with CuSO4, MgSO4, ZnSO4, and place an iron nail in each tube, what will happen?
In the CuSO4 tube, the blue colour of the solution will start to become less intense, and the nail will be coated with copper.

In the other two, nothing will happen.
