Would a kilo of cotton be heavier in your place than a kilo of nails?

The weight would be the same but the mass of cotton would be much bigger.

Why is it I feel this may be a trick question.Would a kilo of cotton be heavier in your place than a kilo of nails?

you're talking of weight not the space it occupies. It's the same of course even if you have a kilo of wet cotton and a kilo of nails.
The weight would be the same but the cotton would take up a lot more space.
More or less: more. Ay! Less!
a kilo is the total weight, so it is the same no matter what the item is, it just takes more or less of something to weigh a kilo
would anyone be this stupid to get this wrong?
If we're talking kiloGRAMS, yes they would weigh the same but they would have different volumes as nails (iron) has a greater molecular weight than the fibers that make up cotton.
first some might think that a kilo of nail is heavier but since both weigh 1 kg then none is heavier than the other.
a kilo is equivalent to a kilo. right?

that a.j. girl is sooo hot!
it's burdensome to carry the cotton you mentioned.
the same weight my friend.
lol.....a kilo of anything is the same everywhere...so a kilo of cotton weighs the same as a kilo of nails (even if they are rusted...lol)
i don't know. i'm getting too old for this type of braintwister. bweeheehee...
1 kilo of cotton = 1 killo of nails
