Wheres the best place to get cheap nails?

either real or fake?

they all seem to cost $80 - $200Wheres the best place to get cheap nails?
I don't know who you have been getting these prices from, but that is outrageous. The most I have ever heard of is $85 for a full set of LCN gel nails. These are top of the line, and also very expensive gel products. Thus, they cost more. You generally get what you pay for with nails. If you go to a salon that charges less than $25 or so for a full set, you will almost certainly get cheap, shoddy looking nails. To be fair, there are some salons that will charge you more and still do a bad job on them. It really comes down to the tech. You need to find a nail tech who is experienced, highly skilled, someone who takes pride in her work, and is currently licensed. The cost for a full set of acrylic nails currently averages $48 in the U.S. Some are more, some are less. But, I would seriously avoid any salon that charges dirt cheap prices. In the nail industry, they are commonly referred to as 'discount' salons, or NSS (Non-Standard Salons). These are places you really want to avoid going to.

If you would like to find a tech in your area who will do a great set of nails, I will provide two salon locators for you, in case you may be interested? Be aware that most, if not all of these techs/salons listed are not cheap, but aren't too expensive either. Your best bet is to locate a tech/salon in your area, then call them and inquire about their prices and whatever else you want to know. Remember that a good tech, or salon wil always answer your questions, and will not try to avoid them in any way. So, if you ask, say, about their sanitation procedures, they should answer you to your complete satisfaction. If they simply will not answer your question(s), cannot answer your question(s), or is they sound annoyed with you, simply say ';Thanks'; and hang up the phone. These are the places you want to avoid going to. Anyway, in case you are interested, here are the links to two, easy to use salon locators. They are both from very reputable sites, and I think you will be able to find a tech that fits your needs - and budget.

(On this page, the salon locator is on the right hand side. There are many useful articles and other information on this site as well regarding nails mostly, but also hair, waxing, and esthetic treatments).

I hope this helps!Wheres the best place to get cheap nails?
you mean getting them done? or press ons?

sally beauty supply has do it yourself clear gel acrylic sets for about $16. Press on nails are the cheapest and depending on the design it can go from about 10-25 dollars glue included.

i have full set acrylic nails that i paid 20 dollars for with white plastic tips. painted tips can probably change the price as some nail places charge extra 5-9 for french manicures. also some places now have printed acrylic designes and colored tips also ranging from 25 and up. the most expensive i've paid for full set is 35.

a regular manicure can cost from 11-18 dollars depending on the place.

you can't buy real nails honey.
Real nails? I'm not sure where you can get those.

Fake nails are usually cheap at Target, Wal Mart, Sally's and Ulta.

Usually between $3-$8.

Hope that helps. :}
